Simmy's books.

Yes, after Mark Haddon's disturbing books (I enjoy his writing though - I am probably a sadist), I'm reading books which my 11 year old niece is reading these days. Well, these (I kid you not!) are their titles:

- Angus , thongs and perfect snogging
- 'It's OK, I'm wearing really big knickers!'
- 'Knocked out by my nunga - nungas'
- 'Dancing in my nuddy - pants'
- '... then he ate my boy entrancers'
- '... and that's when it fell off in my hand'
- 'Stop in the name of pants!'
- 'Luuurve is a many trousered thing...'
- 'Startled by his furry shorts!'

These, my dear blog, are supposed to be Confessions of a girl called Georgia Nicholson. And I chanced upon these books when I asked Sharula for a list of books I could buy Simmy as her birthday gift. Needless to say, she had to spell out most of the titles, just so I knew I had heard her correctly..

I don't need any furry shorts to startle me actually, Louise Rennison's book titles have done a fairly good job of it. Having said that, I've flicked the first one on the list (you see, Simmy's flown off to India for a few days) and dare I say that I've been enjoying this read to the fullest =)
