I'm not going to evangelize in this post, so put away your poison darts and drop those raised hackles. God is the biggest part of my life, so writing on any other topic today would be stealing His thunder (no, no.. this isn't about Thor).
I can openly say I am who I am today because He is who He has always been. The more I get to know Him the more my life (me included) changes. And it's all fun and total paisa-vasool stuff, except I never give Him any paisa for it, okay? (Just in case you thought I bribe Him.)
Okay, I lied about being able to steal His thunder. Nothing I say or do can steal anything from God, and that's that. What I love about Him is that He doesn't need my validation for existing, neither does He need to show me proof of His existence. One either believes He is or one believes He isn't. You either take Him or leave Him.
My walk with God (or is it His walk with me?) started a long time ago (in my early teens) when I had no idea of who and what and why and how I believed anything at all. I had no clue of who I was either; I hadn't "found" myself so to say, and I had no idea I was "lost" to begin with. So one thing led to another, and I lost my religion.
Soon I learnt a new word "Agnosticism" and quickly hopped on the bandwagon. You see, Atheism has failed to convince me not only because of so many natural anomalies but also because in my experience atheists are greater fanatics than religious fanatics. They are so aggressive they make me suspicious.
Anyway, I was agnostic for a few years before I spooked myself out by wondering all sorts of paranormal things. Then suddenly my whole life became somebody else's and again I had no idea who or what anybody/ thing was anymore.
Then I found God again; actually I'm not sure who found whom. I realised it isn't a struggle at all, it is a relationship. It cannot really be compared to any other known relationship, it is different (that's what "holy" means, by the way). It struck me that whether I talk to Him or not, He's always there and He loves me just the same. I might as well accept that, appreciate it and love Him back.
I can openly say I am who I am today because He is who He has always been. The more I get to know Him the more my life (me included) changes. And it's all fun and total paisa-vasool stuff, except I never give Him any paisa for it, okay? (Just in case you thought I bribe Him.)
And now I sound like a Schizophrenic talking about my imaginary friend. So this is The End, #okbye.
