That was the first question that sprang to my mind when this Asian (Indian/ Bangladeshi) family boarded the train at Mile End.
[NOTE: This is not the same train the previous post material was based on. I took this train after I got off that one at Moorgate]
Well, one of the women in this family pushed an empty stroller around. But when I surveyed the family thoroughly (from the corner of my eye), there were only two kids and both were bipedal. Neither would've fit into the stroller anyway; there is quite the possibility that this stroller was what the family used to stuff their groceries in, like most women in East Ham do (I kid you not!)
The term Bipedal is quite incorrect when associated with these children. These chubby, overfed kids were obnoxiously airbourne. There was an elder brother and a younger sister who tried to ape every darned thing the gorilla (her brother) did, except that her face was covered in make-up (yes), and the brother's was not. The brother swung dangerously (for the rest of the commuters) from the bars overhead, while the little sister thought she could climb up the pole since she couldn't jump high enough to reach the bars. Every now and then there was a thudding sound as one of them crashed into the floor. The elders in the family fondly looked on.
Gee, I'd shoot my kids point blank if they caused me such grief just to watch them from a distance.
