I decided to cook up a big feast last night, and why not?! I don't want all the mutton to rot in the freezer. We bought 1 kg mutton last week to cook for Milind and family when they were to come over. But since those plans got foiled, we're left with mutton, mutton and more mutton to eat! Throw in half a kilo of chicken and we're stuffed for the week!!
We weren't bright enough to anticipate a no-show, so the entire kilogram of mutton (though it seems like more..) went into the freezer in the one big bag it came in. Four days later, it was realised that the mutton conglomerate could not be cooked in parts. SO out came my gigantic cooker.. in went the block of meat.. and half an hour later, the mutton was of a melt-in-mouth state :D
We're having mutton in different styles of cooking since Saturday. The boiled mutton is being used to it's best advantage, and the Cook's having ample fun with it :)
Oh wait, today's Monday.. Hmm, moong beans today then..
The meat regime resumes tomorrow! *glee*
