The Foxtrot

On my way to Milind's last night, I spotted a fox (It was like spotting a shooting star, because I have never really seen a fox upclose. But then again, I have never spotted a shooting star in my entire life..)

But I digress.. Anyway:

Just to humour the husband, I decided to click a picture of this fox. What I hadn't realised was that my phone camera would give out a blinding flash followed by a loud khachack sort of a sound... Suffice to say that this was enough to intrigue the fox who followed me till I had the gall to look back.

This being-followed-by-a-potentially-ferocious-animal frightened me a wee bit, so I started making as much noise as I could, you know.. heavy footsteps, swishing of the bags I was carrying, etc. so that the fox would know what would hit him if he got too curious... Also, I walked as close to the centre of the road as possible, knowing full well that if I'd walk by the trees on the pavement, the fox would probably find some of his cronies to help him.

I risked my life to get this priceless picture, though I actually have to point the fox out =)
